You are welcome experiencing magic of the old mill – a boulder wall, old wood planks, peculiar interior, and special smell of flour provide ancient aura to the building.
Just next to the Bebrene Manor and its wall, there is a mill building with a miller’s residential house. The mill is arranged in the former storage barn built in 1836. The barn was rebuilt to be the mill in 1928, and the mill was opened by Indriķis Stukulis.
Since the autumn of 2012, the mill building’s reconstruction was launched for the needs of Bebrene craft and history centre – for exhibiting cultural and historical items, agricultural and ancient technical collections and for offering the premises to hold creative workshops of craftsmen and artists. In spring, summer, and early autumn when weather is warm enough, groups of travellers and families are invited to apply to creative lessons in Bebrene mill.
