During the summer here you will find Beach volleyball, football fields and cafes. Children will be able to enjoy different types of playground equipment such as slides and swings. The seashore has almost an 80 m wide beach of fine white sand and dunes that in some places reach a height of 9 m. The Blue Flag Beach stretches for 1.2 km. Equipment on the Beach allows disabled people to take a rest at the sea: they can reach the Beach using plank-ways and dwell on special designed platforms. We respect health of vacationers, therefore it is prohibited to smoke on the major part of the Blue Flag Beach area. In places where smoking is allowed are accordingly marked trashcans. A profesional rescue service functions on the Ventspils Beach. Next to the Beach is the Sauthern Pier, there is established an observation tower (19 m above the sea level) by the Pier. There is also separated area for nudists and a special facilitated Surfers Beach of 500 m lenght with appropriate equipment for preparing, storing and drying of surfing inventory. To shorten way to the Beach for those who want to struggle with the wind, there is a parking place by the Beach.
Near the Beach is the Ventspils Yacht harbour.
