Located 0.3 km downstream from Cēsis' bridge over river Gauja (edge of Gaujas Street) at the Cirulisi nature trail, where between the street and the former Mūrlejas brick-kiln, on the slope of the primeval valley, there are multi-level sandstone outcrops seen for a ~100 m long section.
At the feet of the outcrops there are remains from the oxbow lake of Gauja. Above the cliffs there is a more open area with the same name as in Sigulda – “Ķeizarkrēsls”. A viewing tower and the so-called jumping area for skiers stood once here. Powerful spring comes out at the feet of the cliffs. The rocks are easily accessible for hikers, cyclists, as well as visitors with prams and wheelchairs.
