Kalnansi bog trail is located just 34 km from Kuldīga, close to Kabile town. It is a short loop-type trail, yet a really beautiful bog trail with a lovely small lake in the middle called Bezdibeņa (“bottomless”) lake. The lake is credited of having a very “soft” healing water. In past, storries were told that it could be the deepest lake in Latvia, this is where it’s name came from. In reality it appeared that the depth is no more than 7m:) Kalnansi bog is a protected raised bog.
