There is also an impressive 500 metre long and 5 metre tall dolomite outcrop on the bank of Lielupe River, and here it is called Jumprava rock. The outcrop is divided by a ravine with a 1.5 m high waterfall cascade. Pay attention that the waterfall is seasonal – it dries out in the summer months. There is also a small spring on the foot of the outcrop, and is called Love spring (Mīlestības avotiņš in Latvian). After few metres it flows into Lielupe River.
The magnificent landscape of the outcrop is made even more impressive by an artificial castle-ruin tower on the top of it.
