Grīviņu Rock

Also called Leču Rock, Sarkanā cliff.

Located in the lower reaches of river Grīviņupīte, at its mouth with river Gauja. Consists of reddish sandstone outcrops from Gauja suite. In fact – rock pillar on the primeval valley wall of Gauja, which elevates above the vicinity for at least 20 m. Earlier it offered a broad view towards the primeval valley wall of Gauja, but now it is overgrown with a forest.
