The bronze sculpture of the first mayor of Ogre, Julijs Alberts Marsons (1875–1941), is located in the square near Ogre Railway Station. The sculpture was unveiled on June 4, 2021.
To honor the outstanding personality of Julijs Alberts Marsons and his contribution to the development of the city of Ogre, the Ogre Station Square has been named Julijs Alberts Marsons Square.
