It is a sculpture of a bear cub which eats from a honey pot. The sculpture was set up during the 1950’s, and it is a typical element of urban environment characteristic to Soviet period. There is a story on how the cub got his name: the cub's broken paw was healed by the students of Art School of Ogre, and the bandage was removed on 18th May – the day when the men named Ēriks celebrate their name day.
