The church is located in Gramzda parish and is unique in its construction techniques. Smaiži church was built in concrete casting technique. The church was built between 1929 and 1939. Before World War II, the church had more than 400 members. The church operated until 1952. The tower and wall of the Smaiži church have been preserved.
