The first major contemporary Roman-Catholic church in Latvia built in the 1990s and consecrated in 1996. The skilfully made altars, Stations of the Cross, cardinal’s chair, confessional, God’s table, and Ambon were gifted to the church from the Riga School of Arts and Craft. The altar and chandelier were designed by sculptor Ģ. Burvis. The altarpiece was painted by K. Teivāne.
