Riga St Francis church

St. Francis Church (Latvian: Svētā Franciska Romas katoļu baznīca) is a Roman Catholic church in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The church is situated at the address 16 Katoļu Street in the Maskavas Forštate neighborhood. The building was consecrated in 1892 by Franciszek Albin Symon, the auxiliary bishop of Mohilev.

St Francis church is a neogothic and noeromanesque Catholic church which was built incredibly fast – just in abput 2 years from 1889 to 1891. It's located in Maskavas district, and with it's 60 metres high towers are one of main vertical accents in the suburb. It's just one of three churches in Riga which has two towers instead of one.
