Kalnciems-Klīve Evangelical Lutheran Church was built from 1854 to 1855 according to the construction project of the architect Emils Julisus Strauss. The tower was completed in 1903. The church was built with the work and resources of local farmers, so the house is modest in size and its interior is simple.
In 2017, the renovation of the church was started.
