The Lutheran Church of Dzirciemswas constructed in year 1879. It is one of the rare churches in Latvia with entrance facing northwards. Inside, the interior equipment, which was brought from the Ventspils Order Castle chapel in year 1827, is set up. However the organ prospect and the organs were made by Kārlis Hermanis in year 1851, but in year 1878 it was additionally improved by his son. The author of the altar piece “Appearance of Christ to St. Maria Magdalena” (1895) is A. Baumanis.
