The Vecsaikava pedestrian bridge over Aivieksta is 75 m long and 1.10 m wide, put into operation at the end of 1969 in honor of the upcoming centenary of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. Over time, the bridge has been repaired several times, in 2014 a simplified renovation of the bridge was performed. Fiberglass composite material was used for the bridge deck.
