Vīksnas cave is located on the cliff of the right bank of Salacas, 3.5 km below the Staiceles bridge, in the Vīksnu cliffs. The length of the cave is 24 m, width 1.5 m, height 2.1 m. The cave is formed in a yellow sandstone rock.
