Vilce Water Mill

At the southern end of the Vilce Nature Park, there is the former Vilce water mill, built in 1862. It is a stone masonry building with thick walls and lattice structures on the roof floor. In 1938, a steam engine was used as a driving force, there were also sliding and wool carding machines, but the equipment was dismantled in the early 1960s. The sluice and the bridge were rebuilt around the 1970s. In 1995, the former mill building, where the canteen was located and social events were organised, was under fire and has not been restored since then.
