Vaiņode Museum

The Vaiņode people themselves started to create the Vaiņode Museum in 2006. The museum is located in the historic building of the former Vaiņode railway station on Brivibas Street 2a in the very center of the town. It is safe to say that the soul of the museum is Alda Pruse, who literally fought for the existence of the museum. Thanks to the understanding of the region's management and the support of the inhabitants, the museum has become a popular tourist attraction in the Liepaja region and throughout Kurzeme. The long-awaited Tourist Information Office will soon open on the museum's premises, opening up new opportunities for visitors to Vaiņode.
