Tempļakalna Street Pedestrian Bridge

This pedestrian bridge connects the Aluksne Castle Island and Temple Hill. At every round hour from noon unti 24:00 – the first fifteen minutes the bridge delights with a music. During the dark hours of the evening, when the bridge lights turns on, it will adjust to the flowing sound of the music, creating a romantic sound and light performance.

Also the New Palace, Temple of Fame in Temple Hill, 101 step staircase, Livonian Order castle South tower, Alūksne Evangelical Lutheran Church and 7. Sigulda infantry monument are illuminated. And in the summer season, the fountains near the New Castle and Lake Alūksne are lit in colourful lights until midnight. This is the great reason for a late walk!
