Stone Brīvnieku graudberzis

At Lauciene elementary school there is an ancient tool for grain grinding – Brīvnieki graudberzis. It was transferred here from Brīvnieki house nearby. Bronze Age (1500-500 BC) signifies an improved quality of the stone tools, drilled and polished stone woodworking tools were significantly more effective than previously. During this time of transition from hoe to plow farming, incurred and to have survived special kind of stones used for grain grinding.
