The Sigulda Bobsleigh and Luge Track is one of Latvia's most thrilling and iconic destinations, offering a unique experience for both athletes and visitors. Nestled in the breathtaking Gauja Valley, the track provides stunning panoramic views of the valley and Sigulda town, creating a truly unforgettable backdrop. Did you know that this track is one of only 18 of its kind in the world? Built in 1986, it boasts a length of 1200 meters, with an additional 220 meters, and features 16 exciting curves. It’s the training ground for bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton athletes and also hosts international competitions.

Sigulda Bobsleigh and Luge Track is open to the public every day, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Visitors can not only explore this legendary site but also experience an adrenaline rush with a variety of fun rides. In the summer, take on the exhilarating summer-bob ride, and in winter, enjoy the thrilling soft-bob ride, soft-luge and ice-raft experience. It’s an adventure not to be missed! On competition days, when the track comes alive with national and international events, we invite everyone to cheer on world-class athletes and immerse themselves in the electrifying atmosphere!

Ice-raft is your winter adventure for conquering the twists and turns of Sigulda Bobsleigh and Luge Track, where every thrill-seekers can experience the adrenaline rush together. With 13 turns and speeds reaching up to 50 km/h, ice-raft is the epitome of inflatable excitement!
After an adventure-filled ride, go see the constructions of the track and visit the view platform, where you can capture beautiful views of Sigulda and Gauja.

2 – Winter soft-bob ride and track visit

The minimum number of riders is 4 people.
During the winter season, we invite you to experience fun rides with a winter soft-bob at the facilities of the National Sport Centre of Latvia at Sigulda Bobsleigh and Luge Track.
Gather your friends and family and embark on a thrilling journey down the icy track, where twists, turns, and laughter await. Feel the rush of the crisp winter air as you navigate the curves with your closest ones. It's not just a ride; it's a winter adventure filled with fun and camaraderie.

5 – Track visiting

The bobsleigh and luge track “Sigulda” was built in 1986, its length is 1200+220 m and it has 16 turns. On the highway you can reach speeds of up to 125 km/h. The bobsleigh and luge track hosts bobsleigh, luge and skeleton national and international competitions.  From the men's start ramp there is a panoramic view of the River Gauja valley, Sigulda Town and the track itself. Every visitor has the opportunity to walk along all the turns of the track and see the structures of the track.
