Sight platform in Stāmeriena

A viewing platform at a height of four meters has been built near the Stāmeriena railway station. From it, at certain times: 13.26, 16.22, 18.26 and 20.52, you can have an opportunity to see well how the Gulbene–Alūksne narrow gauge train (Bānītis) arrives and departs at the Stāmeriena railway station, to have a good view of the narrow gauge railway (Bānītis) line, as well as the landscapes near the station. The viewing platform was opened on 2 September 2017 – during the Bānītis festival. There is a picnic area next to the viewing platform.
