Ķeipene is known as the capital of Latvian film history. The world's only publicly viewable exposition dedicated to the director Sergej Eisenstein has been created at the Ķeipene railway station.

The film station, created in the premises of the former railway station in Ķeipene, was created by the team and associates of the "Arsenāls" film festival during the festival, going on a surreal journey by train to Ķeipene. A tunnel of 24 film frames runs across the tracks, a tribute to the first film reel.
