Sculpture "The Fountain of Light"

Sculpture "The Fountain of Light". Some people visualize it as a lucky horseshoe, others suppose it looks like meanders of the River Gauja flowing through Valmiera. The sculpture has been both praised and criticized, and probably never actually understood, yet always having undivided attention of the locals and the visitors. The Light Fountain was lit on the eve of the 90th anniversary of the Republic of Latvia, on 17 November, 2008.
