River Igate

Igate (Igate creek, Igate river) is a tributary of the left bank of the Vilce in the counties of Tērvete and Jelgava.

Source – in the Southeast of Augstkalne Parish. Running in the eastern-north direction. Estuary in the Vilce is not far from the Vilce estuary in the Svete. The biggest tributary is the Zirņu grāvis. The river is crossed by public roads V1078 (Veczāmeļi–Blankenfelde (Saulīte)–Augstkalne), and there are no large settlements on banks of the Igate.
