Kuldiga Castle Guards House

This lodge was built in 1735 using the stones from the destroyed Duke’s castle. It is situated on the terrace which was formed above the only remaining part of Kuldīga castle. The last castle guard Bofemēls also lived here. It is also referred to as “the hangman’s house”.
