Grieze Lutheran Church

Grieze Evangelical Lutheran Church is located in Ezere Parish, Saldus District, in a beautiful place - 200 meters from the Lithuanian border and the Vadakste estuary in Venta.

The church was built in 1580. It was rebuilt in 1769 and 1846, during which time the church acquired its current shape. The Grieze church suffered badly in World War II. In 2003, the cleaning of Grieze Church began.
