Footbridges in Langervalde Forest

In 2017, eleven wooden footbridges, four information boards, as well as benches created by students of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies Forest Faculty, as well as eight wooden objects made of wood and metal - various animals made by students of Crafts Secondary School of Jelgava and Riga Art and Media School – elk, deer and others. Each bridge in Langervalde Park has a different finishing technology and color, while scientists and students aim to monitor the effectiveness of protective measures in the wild over the coming years, where the bridges are exposed to both precipitation and air temperature changes.
