Buļu Rock

Location: Riga district, Krimulda municipality, precipice at the right bank of Brasla River, 1 km below high-tension electricity line;

Description: Width of the cliff – circa 110 m, total height of steep – up to 30 m. Several caves in those cliffs, large icefall is forming during the winter. Sandstone of Devonian Gauja formation.

Around 110m long and up to 30 m high cliff with a sandstone outcrop at its feet, which is divided by the hollow-like Lielā Buļu Cave in the middle part of it.

There are two more Buļu caves and Adamaita Cave in the outcrop. One of the most beautiful Brasla outcrops.
