Beļava Manor
The main building – the castle was built around 1750 and is one of the oldest residential manor houses in Gulbene Municipality which has survived to this day. In the 19th century, a high mansard roof was built for the manor house. In the 1920s, the castle was reconstructed for school purposes. Until today, the interior finishing elements have been preserved in several rooms – the colourful marble slab flooring in the lobby, the wooden stairs, the stoves, the doors, the built-in wardrobes and wall panels. Currently, the manor building can be viewed only from the outside. The manor complex also includes several household buildings and residential buildings, ponds and a large park with plantations of various exotic species of trees and shrubs. There is a monument to the baron's favourite horse in the park.
