Augstkalne Village, Latvia

Augstkalne is a village in Augstkalne parish of Dobele municipality, the center of the parish. It is located on the left bank of the Svēte river near the P95 highway, 29 km from the municipality center Dobele and 85 km from Riga.

The settlement was formed near the center of the former Mežmuiža (Grenzhof). In 1938, Mežmuiža was renamed Augstkalne.
