Anfabrika (Handfabrik)

Initially, Līgatne Papīrfbrika paper was produced in the adapted flour mill of Paltmale manor. From 1815 to 1816, a paper mill is built, which is called "Handfabrik" or Anfabrika.

Until 1871, paper was produced by hand in the Handfabrik. Paper is produced here until World War II. After World War II, a sawmill and carpentry were established in the Hanfabrik. Currently, industrial work has stopped and buildings have been partially demolished.
