Aklais Bog Trail

Nature Reserve "Aklais Bog" is located in Jaunjelgava District, founded in 1999 and the total area is 2003 hectares. A wooden kind that leads to Aklais or Jugu swamp allows you to look at the swamp habitats and the living creatures. The boardwalk created in Marsh leads from a memorial site created to honor the time battles of the Second World War, along the river Girupe to the Girupe lake. On the shores of Lake Girupe there is a small view platform on the trail level with the bench seats, so that the trails visitors can enjoy the guild the beauty of the lake and peace.
