Acorn – fountain

Liela Street 10a, Kandava, Kandava municipality, Latvia, LV-3120

The fountain is located at the castle ruines, 10A Liela Street. The fountain, rebuilt in 2019, has acquired a new shape, emphasizing the symbolism of Kandava. The edge of the fountain is decorated with oak leaves, but the focus is on the "acorn" sculpture. The author of the fountain is Gunārs Platpīrs.
