Ēdole Lutheran Church

According to legends, the owner of Ēdole manor Johan Dittrich Beer built this noble church in his assassinated father’s memory, as well as to redeem his brother Phillip’s sins. As for Johan Dittrich himself – he requested to be buried under the threshold of the entrance in church. The church is one of the greatest monuments of baroque era.
